This work refers to President Roosevelts' first inauguration speech, as he said that the "only thing to fear is fear itself." This article continually claims that fear is a fog, and that we must be clear sighted, as Roosevelt was. This article also is a review of the speech by Roosevelt, and continually refers to that as well. This article is very similar to the message of the speech because of this very thing. I learned from this article that Roosevelt always tried to tell the truth and didn't try to sugar coat anything, making him trustworthy. This article also shows me how true Roosevelts' words are. This address was meant to comfort the people as well as show them that the truth will always be there, that they can't hide from it. He also talks of what has cause the depression, and how he will try to improve things for the people. I learned that you can't let fear overcome you, and that the truth cannot be avoided without the solution being avoided as well. A very important lesson, if you ask me. It also spoke of how Dr. MLK Jr. dreamed about a time when everyone was equal and there was no discrimination among people. This speech is one of the most famous ones in history for a reason. It radiates determination and shows how he believed in what he was saying. I learned from this speech that life isn't always fair, but there will always be someone there to fight agains injustice. This selection shows how hip-hop changed the culture and lives of young adults. It also showed what the author wanted young adults to think about and do in their lives, and how these thoughts and actions affected her. I learned that hip-hop wasn't always the way it is today, and that it affected teens much more than I thought before. Picture above on left from http://www.pinterest.com/explore/hip-hop-fashion/

As was my dad. I have a black cat named Salem who looks quite a bit like the cat below. For some people, my birthday is bad luck, and we all know about Jason and his movies. So here's to the people who don't let superstition bother them.
Welcome! Hope you enjoy this... I don't know what else to say, so... Enjoy!!
